Oh well,what can I say about Lisa Kleypas and her books???In the worst case scenario her books are far better than other's and in the best,mindblowing!In this case,Suddenly You falls into the latter category!I just loved it!!!

From the leading couple,the actual story and the writing style,there isn't one tiny little thing I can find to complain about (and anyone who's read a couple of my reviews knows exactly how much I like to complain about things...).

Amanda is among my favorite characters of this genre.Smart,strong and independent,no matter what!Devlin,well,I can't complain about him either.Kleypas surely knows how to make her male protagonists sexy beyond imagination, and who I may to disagree with that!

The pace of the novel is even,despite the somewhat rushed beggining.One might think that after Amanda and Jack were "introduced" in such a way,things might get the downhill,but no,their relationship is slow moving and perfect,exactly how I like it!

Honestly,I really can't say more about Kleypas's books!I notice that everytime I review one of her books,my reviews come out a bit short,but I really don't have to say anything more!Her books are amazing and that sums up wonderfully whatever I'm thinking!

Then Came You,wasn't exactly my favorite book by Lisa Kleypas,but I can't really complain that I disliked it or I was bored either...It just didn't leave me quite amazed like almost every single book I've read by this author...

To begin with, I had a bit of a rough start with Then Came You.I wasn't immediatelly drawn to the story and I had a bit of a hard time with the main heroine Lily.At first I couldn't understand her and by the end I was a bit detached to her as a heroine.I just observed her,I couldn't relate to her even though I understood her.The same problem I had with the hero as well,Alex.Although I liked him infinitely more than Lily,still,I found some of his reactions bizarre to say the least (I really can't get his reaction in the library while he was drank,just can't ...). The dialogues between the main couple where fun and their public fights while they made me smile,I found them rather childish.

The story was good,with enough sentiment as well as mystery so this book falls easily under the category of fun reads,but somehow I just felt that it wasn't enough.

My favorite character is by far Derek Craven.He was an intiguing character and honestly I can't wait to read the second book in the series where he is the leading male!

Scandal in Spring is my second least favorite book in the Wallflower series with the least being the first one Secrets of a Summer Night.And that's not because this book is bad,it's just that after Devil in Winter,this one is simply not nearly as good,but still better than other books in the genre...

The story of Daisy and Matthew is sweet and sexy,in her own way,but nothing groundshaking.I didn't get to know anything new about Daisy in her story,something that happened in both the previous books of the series but I have to admit that I love Matthew!In his own way he made me love him above all the male leading characters of this series.I don't know if it was his inner strength or the vulnerability he showed at times that made me love him so much,but I just couldn't help it!

I loved all the twists in the end,regarding Matthews past,and how the story concluded and the only reason I didn't like it as much as the previous two books rests in the fact that I found the romance between them more subtle in a way.I somehow didn't get the fireworks I got in the previous books,but I enjoyed Scandal in Spring nevertheless!

All in all,Scandal in Spring may not be my favorite book in the series,but it was one I enjoyed reading and as always,Lisa Kleypas made me crave to read her other books even more!

Devil In Winter is by far my favorite book in The Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas and believe me when I say,after reading It Happened One Autumn I felt that it was rather impossible for me to like another book in this series so much...But,the best were waiting for me still!

I have to admit,that after the way the previous book in the series ended and after the way St. Vincent behaved,I was a bit apprehensive in reading a story were he would be the leading man.You see,I was afraid that he couldn't redeem himself for his past actions,thus making it difficult for him to like him...But,not long after I started reading this book,it became apparent that there was absolutely no need for me to be afraid of such a thing!Cause St. Vincent not only managed to redeem himself but he also became one of my favorite male characters in a historical romance novel!The way he treated and cared for Evie was plainly sweet,thoughtfull and incredible,making it just that easy for me to forget and forgive any of his misgivings!

Evie on the other hand gets the full attention in this book,considering it's the one telling her story,and even though in the previous books we didn't get to know much about her,in this book she just didn't stop to amaze me the whole time.Stattering and shy Evie is so much more than that.She's smart and funny and witty and strong minded,qualities that went unnoticed in the previous books.

Anyway,the story is perfect and sweet,and in overall,this book is among the best of the genre I've read up until now!Lisa Kleypas's huge fanbase is well justified believe me.Her books are really good and the romance hot but not cheap as I've encountered elsewhere.Needless to say,I can't wait to pick up not only the next book in this series but anything else written by the writer as well!

From the first book in the series,I had already picked up Westcliff's interest towards the eldest Bowman sister and to be honest,since I loved those two characters from that book,I was almost certain that their story couldn't disappoint me!And it didn't!It Happened one Autumn is among my favorites of this genre!

Lillian and Marcus possess that something in their characters that makes them so believable and their reactions to things so true that you can not but love them!Both of them are strong,independent and stubborn and the romance between them presents such an interest that I couldn't put this book down until I finished it!They are so similar that a relationship between them should had been impossible but yet,they manage to fill each others needs.

It's not that I've read so many historical romances,but untill now,all that I've read,follow the same pattern more or less,flirt,marriage,sex and then something final to bond the couple together forever beyond marriage.But in this one,this pattern is broken,and I must admit I found it a bit refreshing!Plus,the ending is just suspensfull and perfect!The last 30 pages or so,was plainly impossible for me to leave this book of my hands!

I'm just glad that everyone who told me that this series gets better by each book were proven right and I just can't wait to pick up the next book in the series!

This is my first book by author Lisa Kleypas and despite the somewhat mixed reviews about it,I must admit I really enjoyed reading it!

I must admit I had a bit of a rough start with this one,as the first chapter just had me confused.We were introduced to the main characters a bit abruptly and the description of the specific first scene just struck me a bit odd...But after that first chapter,I slowly emerged into Lisa Kleypas' world and I trully enjoyed this story!

Her writing style is really good and her images very vivid!It was as I myself lived in that time and saw what the characters saw trough my own eyes!

Her characters are also well developed and realistic and I liked how she chose to portray the progressive fall of strictly aristocratic England,to one that slowly makes room for the more industrial one.

But what I loved most in this book is the leading character,Simon!I just love him!Kleypas did an amazing job writing this character,a thing I'm sad to say didn't happen with the heroine as well...You see,my only problem with this novel alone,was the leading heroine,Annabelle.I just couldn't bring myself to like her all the way.There were times I liked her and times I couldn't make up my mind about her...One moment she's all shy and proud and unyielding and the next she speaks and thinks like a manipulative and arrogant person.I really saw the whys and  understood the things that made her think in such a way but still,I couldn't make up my mind about her,despite the fact she redeemed herself by the end of the book.

Anyway,despite having some problems with the heroine,the book in whole is very good and evenly paced and I totally enjoyed myself while reading,making it imperative that I continue on with the rest books in the series,which from what I hear only get better!A must read for the lovers of the genre!
