Book Chick City: 100 Books In A Year Reading Challenge 2011!

I spotted this Challenge ovet at Book Chick City and decided to participate in what i account is my biggest goal of the year: reach 100 books!2010 i read about 80 books (i didn't start counting until late,so i suppose,that's how many books i read give or take) and decided to top that number this year,and this challenge seems like a really good way of keeping track of my reading progress!

So,i just hope i'll be able to reach 100 books this year :)

Descent of the Angels Reading Challenge

Anaiz over at Lady and The Books and Momo from Books over Boys are co hosting this year an amazing challenge evolving angel books!

I probably have said it a million times but angel stories are the next best thing for me (vampire stories being always the first!) and as soon as i spotted this amazing challenge i decided to sign up immediatelly!

Most Awaited YA Releases Challenge

Savannah over at Books with Bite decided to host her own challenge for this year and it's a really amazing one!!!

We all love YA books and,at least i,every year pack my TBR shelf with lots of YA titles that just seem really amazing to ignore!So, Savannah decided to host a challenge where we could just read all those YA titles we can't wait to put our hands on!And to top it off,every month she will host a giveaway with one of those books.

This is the Most Awaited YA Debut Challenge. In this, I challenge you to read the most awaited debuts of the year 2011. Below is list with each month, stating the most awaited debuts, along with the release dates. The list is not final, I may add a few more books if I find any. Each month I will choose a winner. The winner has a choice to win a book of his/her choice from this list. For example, if you win in January, but you want a book from March, I will send you that book whenever it is released. Also this is a year long challenge and is International.

2011 YA Debut Author Challenge

Kristi from The Story Siren announced some days ago the brand new 2011 YA Debut Author Challenge!I've spotted that challenge this year as well,but since it was already summer i decided to get ready for the next year!So here i am!I love YA books (among YA titles you'll find the most gorgeous covers!) so why not participate in a challenge evolving around them!

Here is the challenge description from Kristi's blog:

2011 Debut Author Challenge participant information:

• The objective of the DAC is to read at least twelve novels from Young Adult or Middle Grade Authors. While twelve is the minimum there is no maximum limit! I encourage readers who can read more than twelve to do so!
• Anyone can join. You don't have to be a blogger, and you don't have to live in the United States. 
• You do not have to have an blog written in English to participate. 
• You can join at anytime. The challenge runs from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011. 

Qualifying books:

• Books must be a Young Adult or Middle Grade novel.
• DO NOTE: Just because a book has a teen character or is about a teen, does not mean that it is necessarily a Young Adult novel. 
• This must be the authors debut with a release date in 2011. They cannot have a prior middle grade or young adult title released. 
• If an author has a previous novel published under adult fiction/nonfiction or children's fiction/nonfiction, they can still qualify for the challenge if they are releasing their YA or MG debut.
