Welcome to Day 9 of Let it Snow Books 2012, where for the next three weeks you have the chance to read some really fun holiday posts from some of your favorite authors, both here and at Ex Libris.
Today, we welcome author Jennifer Probst here at Books to Brighten your Mood with a festive post and you will have the chance to win a copy of any of the books in the very successful Marriage to a Billionaire series! If like me, you love cute and sexy romantic stories then Jennifer Probst's series is one you don't want to miss! Believe me, as soon as you start reading one book, you immediately want to grab the next one. They're simply amazing! Here's my review of The Marriage Trap:
The Marriage Trap by Jennifer Probst may be the second book in her successful Marriage of a Billionaire series but this is actually the first book I try of this author and let me tell you that I was impressed! Yeah sure it ... Read the rest of the review here.
- Currently there are 3 books in your very successful Marriage to a Billionaire series. Are there any plans to write more books in this series?
Jennifer: Yes! I originally planned only to have three in the series, but during Mistake a yummy potential hero showed up, and I still had one character left without her happy ever after. I knew I’d have to write book 4 – especially after my fantastic readers asked for another book. I’m also planning on extending the series in a fresh, new way but more on that later!
- Your descriptions of Italy in your books are quite vivid, have you ever travelled there?
Jennifer: Yes, I had the most wonderful 15 day tour through Italy with my girlfriend years ago. It was a magical time in my life – I was single at the time – and have the best memories. I remember floating in a gondola while an opera singer serenaded our boat, his voice echoing down the canals while people clapped on the bridge. I thought to myself, “Kill me now!”
I’ve never been to Bergamo, but I was in Milan and I researched extensively to find the right fit for the Conte family. I also plan to travel back to Italy this summer with my mom, aunt and niece – three generations of women on an adventure.
Hmmm – I bet you can scent a book in there somewhere, right!
- What are your plans after The Marriage Mistake?
Jennifer: I have another book coming out with Entangled January 2013 entitled All The Way, and I plan on finishing up the fourth book in the marriage series – The Marriage Merger. Lots more planned too after that!
-Since this whole event is about the Best Books we read in 2012, could you share with us some of your favourite titles you read this year?
Jennifer: Do you have another page for my answers? I read extensively and was knocked out this year by the number of books I enjoyed. I discovered many new authors and kept loyal to my faves. Some of them I highly recommend: The Great Escape by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, On The Island by Tracy Garvis Greaves, Wallbanger by Alice Clayton, Bared to You by Sylvia Day, Beautiful Disaster by Jamie MacGuire, Megan Mulry’s A Royal Pain, Tiffany Reisz The Siren, can I keep going??
- Please complete: Christmas/the holidays wouldn't be the real deal without...my family
- Do you have any favourite holiday themed stories (movies or books)?
Jennifer: March of The Wooden Soldiers (my kids love it) and all the classics from childhood – Rudolph, Frosty, and the Grinch!
- Could you share with us your favourite holiday meal/dessert/candy?
Jennifer: Chocolate, please! We always have tons of chocolate desserts at our family holidays – truffles, brownies, pastries, yum!
- Let’s say you have the chance to spend the holidays with a fictional character, who would that be and what would you be doing?
Jennifer: I pick the Conte family from The Marriage Trap. I want to have dinner in Bergamo with Michael and Maggie, Carina and Max, Julietta and Venezia. Alexa and Nick have to be there visiting too! Mama Conte would cook like mad – probably make me help her in the kitchen! – and it would be like I was spending the holidays with my fictional family!
- What special dessert would Dolce Maggie serve for Christmas?
Jennifer: Love this question! Definitely some homemade Struffoli – the delicious fried pastry dipped in sweet honey and rolled in sprinkles. The bakery would also offer Zuppa Inglese – a fabulous layered rum soaked sponge cake with fresh pastry cream and a hint of chocolate. Completely decadent!
- What would you ask Santa to bring you this year?
Jennifer: An Iphone! How unromantic is that – but oh, to get my hands on a shiny new phone...
Thank you Jennifer for stopping by here today and Happy Holidays!

WIFE WANTED…
Italian billionaire seeks faux fiancée. Willing to agree to anything in return...
In order for his sister to marry, Italian billionaire Michael Conte has to find himself a bride – and fast! When he learns that photographer Maggie Ryan is going to be in Milan, Michael hatches a plan to introduce her to his family as his “fiancée.” Never mind that Maggie is confident, independent, and a control freak. Never mind that she’s everything he doesn’t want in a wife… and everything he wants in his bed!
Convinced that Michael is in love with her married gal pal, Maggie agrees to keep up the ruse if he’ll keep away from her friend. Besides, she’s not attracted to charming, ridiculously hot billionaires who drive her nuts. Once they’re in Italy, however, everything changes – and the sexual tension between Maggie and Michael goes from simmer to naked nuclear meltdown!
But have they found the perfect arrangement… or are they trapped in a make-believe marriage?
