Best Books I Read in 2012!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!!! I hope the very best for you and your families on this very special day!
This time of the year is always my favorite, not only because Christmas, is my favorite time of the year but because I'm always eager to see what the New Year will bring :) And, one of my favorite things is how I get back and see what I achieved and what brought me in general, the year that is ending.

Reading wise, 2012 was a good year but I'm afraid I have to admit not nearly as good as 2011 was in many departments. For one, I read less books :P Still, 110 books is still a big deal for me!
The other department is which 2012 was inferior than last year is that of rating. This year, I found myself picking books I ended up liking much less than I was hoping for and as a result the books I absolutely loved are not that many, making it a much easier job to pick my Top 10 and present you with...
The Best Books I Read in 2012!

An Affair with Mister Kennedy by Jillian Stone

An Affair with Mister Kennedy was so unbelievably fresh and well written that not only it gets to be in my top 10 for this year, but Jillian Stone and her series go straight to my auto buy list! If you love detectives and strong and independent heroines then you should so try this book!

Chasing Magic by Stacia Kane

Stacia Kane and her Downside Ghosts series couldn't be really missing from Top 10, could she? I mean this series is among my favorite ever and I'm truly obsessed with that dark world. Terrible and Chess are far from perfect and maybe that is why this series is really that perfect, if you get what I mean :)

Crimson Frost by Jennifer Estep

Mythos Academy is one of the best YA series ever! The way the world and the story gets darker by each book, Jennifer Estep's incredible writing style and the romance between Gwen and Logan makes Crimson Frost one of my most anticipated and enjoyable releases of 2012! It was the only book that I stayed up late at night to read, unable to just put it down!

Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers

Grave Mercy was simply incredible! Intricate world building, incredible characters and a writing style so lyrical, were a few of the things that made this story so memorable. If you like fantasy, just read this book. You won't regret it!

His Very Own Girl by Carrie Lofty

Carrie Lofty and her work need no introductions from me, she's truly one of the most gifted writers out there. Her stories are always well written and her characters real and easy to relate to. His Very Own Girl isn't just among my favorite books of this year, but my favorite story of this author as well.

Iced by Karen Marie Moning

Karen Marie Moning's latest release in the Fever world, couldn't possibly be missing from my list. And not just because I love this author so much, but because Iced was simply that great! Ryodan is sexy as hell and the whole story goes on a different direction making Iced a book that you can't possibly put down!

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry

All the great reviews about this book doesn't really do it justice! Great characters and a deep and emotional story, make Pushing the Limits one of the best YA contemporary books I read this year!

Taste by Kate Evangelista

Kate Evangelista's debut novel is a truly remarkable one. Kate's voice is strong and fresh and transforms a story that may sound rather typical into something unique and memorable. Kate is here to stay. She is destined for great things!

Tempting the Best Man by J. Lynn

Jennifer Armentrout has proven that she can write incredible YA stories. With her first adult story under the pen name J. Lynn she proves that she can write stories for older audiences just as easily! Tempting the Best Man is sexy and hot and full of humor, making it one of the best contemporary stories I read this year!

The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

Julie Kagawa's first dystopian book, was among my most anticipated releases of the year and after reading it let me tell you that it was worth all the anticipation! Julie has proved that she's an incredible writer, and with The Immortal Rules she shows us that building incredible fantastic worlds is what she can do best, among other things!
