TGIF is a really fun feature hosted over at GReads and I'm just loving its questions every single week!
This week's question is:
Giving Thanks: Which books are you most thankful for receiving from other bloggers, friends, family members, or publishers?
It must have been the first or second time I got to meet with Giota from A Story Untold when she gave me The Declaration by Gemma Malley,a book she totally loved! From the very first pages of this book I loved it myself as well! It's unbelievably well written and with a story that manages to stick to your mind long after you have finished it.I'm unbelievably thankful for this book, cause if it wasn't for Giota I wouldn't even know it existed!
It was Christmas and I was ill...Not my favorite Christmas Day at all! That is until I opened my mother's present and got Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in my hands!Soon after,I forgot that I was ill on Christmas and got sucked into my favorite world!
So, which books are you most thankful for?Let me know in your comments!
oooh. pretty blog. now following. sorry, had to get that out of the way.
ReplyDeletei haven't yet read crime and punishment, and I've never heard of The Declaration of Gemma Malley (must check it out), but I can attest that Harry Potter (any of them) is good a making you forget unwanted things. I love when a book draws me so deeply into it like that.
Here's PiF's.
I love how involved your parents were in your reading! And I thought it was sweet how your dad picked out a book for you to read and then talk about with him :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday Anna! Have a great weekend :)
