Waiting on Wednesday: Bloodlines

"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

My selection for this week is:

Bloodlines (Bloodlines,#1) by Richelle Mead
Publication Date: August 23rd 2011
Publisher: Razorbill

Summary from Goodreads:
When alchemist Sydney is ordered into hiding to protect the life of Moroi princess Jill Dragomir, the last place she expects to be sent is a human private school in Palm Springs, California. But at their new school, the drama is only just beginning.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Bloodlines explores all the friendship, romance, battles and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive - this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone's out for blood.

What I think:
Really,do you honestly think that I can think anything else about Bloodlines, other than: How much longer can I wait to pick it in my hands?Well, Richelle Mead doesn't need any further introductions, nor her spin off series!I've missed everyone so much that I can't wait to read this book.Plus, I was always fond of Adrian, but when Dimitri was the leading male character I just couldn't focus on him as much as I should...Now,I won't be able to help it!And I'm too eager to do so!

  6. I still haven't read any of these books. I'm taking a break from vampires (I way overdid it in the past 3 years and I am burned out!) It looks like I'll have some catching up to do, though!
